$5 Fridays – Social Sewing

$5.00

or 4 fortnightly payments of $1.25 with Afterpay More info

$5 Fridays is our new weekly social sewing day. This isn’t a sewing class – it’s an excuse to get out of the house and do some sewing uninterrupted. Bring your project, your machine, and your sewing basket, and do your own thing. Penny will be there to help if you have a tricky problem now and then.

Class is 9.30am to 12.30pm.

Any sewing or yarn craft is welcome including things like

  • Sewing and dressmaking
  • Patchworking
  • Quilting
  • Machine embroidery
  • Crochet
  • Paper piecing
  • Hand embroidery

Booking is important, but if today is Friday and you’d like to come down, please call us first so we can make sure there is room.

Please note: we love helping beginners, but because this class isn’t tutored, complete beginner’s might need to book into a PRIVATE LESSON with Penny to get you started. If you’re note sure, please feel free to give us a call: 0417 649 685

More Information

Our new regular class for 2021…is our $5 Fridays. Join us every Friday in our sewing room from 9.30am to 12.30pm. This is a social sewing day so there’s no class – you just bring any sewing (or craft) project that you want to work on. I’ll be there to help you with any tricky things that might pop up as you go, and you can relax and enjoy a bit of time out of the house, chatting with other creative people, in the aircon, using out big class tables, all for just $5.

You’ll need to book for this class, and you can book in store (very soon online) but...if you wake up on Friday morning and think you’d like to come down, give us a call and check there’s a spot 0417659685. Then pack your things and scoot on in (and if there happened to be a cake in there, then that’d be even more cool)!
