About Our Machine Servicing and Repairs…

While we will make every effort to reach the estimated completion date of your booking, sometimes the delivery of parts or other extenuating circumstances may extend the completion time.

When checking in your machine, the total estimate supplied includes an additional parts and labour allowance – if the anticipated total price of the repair exceeds this, we will contact you before we carry out the work. The deposit that you pay upon booking is an inspection fee, and should you choose to not go ahead with the repair, your deposit will be kept to cover this cost.

We will contact you once your repair is complete and ask that you collect your machine within 1 week from this contact date. Machines not collected within 3 months will be disposed of to cover the costs of the service.

You will have a 3-month warranty on work performed from the completion date – please see our warranty page for more information.

If another person is collecting your machine, please have them supply your customer booking copy.

Mike’s Sewing Machine Repairs is not responsible for any data stored on your machine and recommends backing up this data before repair.

Mike’s Sewing Machine Repairs is a small business based in Morayfield and we specialise in sewing machine repairs, servicing and support, and haberdasher, sewing room and quilting supplies, and classes.

Generic products sold from our online store have been tested to the best of our capacity on many makes and models of machines, however we always recommend testing these items carefully on your own particular machine. We in no way are attempting to represent out generic products as being affiliated with any brand, and are offering them as a lower-priced or more-available alternative.

We can only supply to addresses within Australia

Because we are an actual store WITH an online store, on rare occasions a product may oversell leaving us unable to fill your order. In this instance, we will contact you and, should you wish it, we will give you a refund.
