To save you time, and money, rather than buying fabric and a pattern to make a t-shirt, for this class you’ll be cutting up an op-shop shirt and then sewing it back together on your overlocker. You’ll learn all the techniques of constructing a stretch t-shirt.
Requirements you’ll need to bring:
- your overlocker threaded (any colour) and ready to go – you’ll need to have some confidence on your overlocker (not quite? Click HERE to book a private lesson with Penny prior to class)
- all of your machine’s standard accessories
- sewing basket with
- fabric marking pencil
- fabric scissors
- good pins
- tape measure
- quick unpick
- nice sewing threads
- an assortment of embroidery threads
- 2 old adult sized casual t-shirts from the op-shop (2 is for just-in case) – please don’t bring: women’s dress tees, or kid’s tees
