Looking for a kid’s sewing class? Sign up for our Kid’s Sewing Class with Corey! This is a very small, beginner-focused skill-building class where kids sew fab little projects. Classes are planned based on the confidence of the students each week, and each lesson includes EVERYTHING needed to make the project, INCLUDING use of a sewing machine.

  • 1 hour class held fortnightly in a block of 4 Wednesday classes – 3.30 to 4.30pm
  • $45 per class paid 1 class ahead, and fee includes all materials
  • class includes the use of sewing tools and a sewing machine – just turn up!
  • small group capped at 2
  • grown-ups are asked to stay with kids to help with cutting and to overhear techniques and tips

Each class includes a full kit AND everything that you need for class INCLUDING the use of a sewing machine.

Some important things to know:

  • Corey has a blue card
  • This is a small group class with only 2 students
  • Class 1 is an introduction to sewing on a sewing machine
  • 4 classes in this group – then kid’s can move to casual fortnightly sewing classes held on alternate Wednesdays
  • Sorry – we can’t refund a missed class
  • This class can advance to a next-step fortnightly kids sewing class

Machine used in this class is a nice and easy machine to use the Brother A16 sewing machine HERE
